What am I doing now?

Today (June 28th) was my last day working for Amazon Web Services. It was a pretty AWSome job: fully remote and in my weird little niche of online event management and production. I had a great experience and learned a lot, and decided to put in my two (which became three) week notice so I could have more time over the coming months to spend time with my relatives and pursue some personal endeavors. Said endeavors include trad climbing at home in the Shawangunks, attending Sundance for the first time, and getting back in to photography and music. We’ll see where the career trajectory takes me, I’ve been working in online & virtual event planning and production for almost a decade and it’s definitely an interesting and ever-changing niche. I don’t have another full-time job lined up & waiting for me - it will be nice to have some free time to decompress after almost 4 years of working full-time and decide what I want to do every day this summer!

I turn 33 this weekend, and will be climbing in California around Whitney Portal from July 10th - 15th. Sundance is late July through early August, and then we’ll see what life has in store after that. If you’d like to keep in touch, use the contact page to drop me a line. Cheers.
